There are only two reasons why your website should not be making you money. It is either built wrong, or it's being ignored. Websites built before 2005 are most usually obsolete, they do not take into account search engine technology The second reason, (and most common) is that the person that built the website is not a marketing person. Your website is a marketing tool, it is the place you send people to either get in touch with you, place an order, ask a question, or schedule a presentation. Any thing else is just a ego trip. There are numerous things that go into a successful website. Everything from picking the right online target audience, to get people to put in their credit card.
